TC EMTEL

Access to emergency services through different media, data transmission to public safety answering points, networks and IoT devices in the provision of emergency situations and in the context of the European Public Warning System.

ETSI’s Technical Committee on Emergency Communications (TC EMTEL) is responsible for the capture of requirements concerning emergency communication services. This covers four typical scenarios in case of an emergency: communication of individuals with authorities/organisations; from authorities/organisations to individuals; between authorities/organisations; and amongst individuals.
