ETSI CYBER-EUSR Chair

Sandra Feliciano is Chair of CYBER-EUSR, the ETSI working group responsible for developing nearly 20 standards under an EU Standardization Request to support the EU Cyber-Resilience Act. She is financially supported by CyberStand.eu in this role.

During 15+ years of international experience in standardization, she has founded three technical committees at IPQ (Aviation Space and Defence, Education and Health and Social Care Services) and has led and contributed to the development of numerous standards at IPQ, ISO, CEN-CENELEC, ASD-STAN, and ETSI across sectors ranging from healthcare and aerospace to education and ICT.

Sandra also brings to the table 20+ years of experience in conformity assessment where, following 15 years working as a third-party certification auditor, she now evaluates certification bodies for the Portuguese Accreditation Body since 2019.

Supported by two decades of consulting and applied research experience, alongside her past academic career as an Invited Adjunct Professor at the Polytechnic of Porto, Sandra bridges policy, industry, and academia hands-on experience to ensure that standards are practical, inclusive, and forward-looking. In recognition of this work, she received the CEN-CENELEC Standards+Innovation Award in 2021.
