Keith Dickerson

Keith Dickerson was a regular participant in ETSI Technical Bodies, the Board, as well as the General Assembly from 1992 to 2024, spanning nearly 33 years, which represented a significant part of his career. During this time, he made hundreds of contributions across fields including Network Architecture, Energy Efficiency and Sustainability, Hybrid Satellite Broadband Networks, Smart Cities, and the Internet of Things (IoT).

Keith was first elected to the ETSI Board in November 2002 and re-elected four times, serving until 2017. He held several Board roles, including being the first Strategy Manager for six years, leading work on the Green Agenda, Smart Cities, IoT and Success Factors for Cross-Sector Technical Bodies.

Keith also participated in the ETSI General Assembly for 22 years, from 2002 to 2024, representing BT Group plc before joining Climate Associates. In 2016, he was appointed as the UK Head of Delegation to ETSI and held this position for seven years.
