Jean Arnaud
ETSI Ambassador for AI
Jean Arnaud is Director of AI Programs at ESMT Berlin Executive Education, entrepreneur, tech philosopher, educator, and interdisciplinary artist working at the intersection of artificial intelligence, innovation, business, education, and human development.
His work focuses on helping leaders and organizations navigate the opportunities and challenges of AI through executive education, strategic foresight, responsible innovation, and organizational transformation. Throughout his career, he has worked across academia, entrepreneurship, public institutions, and the technology ecosystem, contributing to initiatives related to AI, digital transformation, human rights, and the future of learning.
Jean Arnaud is the co-founder of several initiatives, including NOVA, an AI venture focused on intelligent systems, Æthos, a community supporting AI entrepreneurs and innovators, and OMIA, a modular online school exploring new models of education for the age of AI and innovation. His research and writing explore how emerging technologies can augment human judgment, creativity, and collective intelligence while remaining aligned with human values and societal needs.
He became an ETSI Ambassador because he believes that standards play a fundamental role in ensuring that technological innovation remains trustworthy, interoperable, human-centered, and beneficial to society. As artificial intelligence and digital technologies become increasingly embedded in every aspect of our lives, standardization is essential to fostering collaboration, enabling responsible innovation, and building shared frameworks that can support both technological progress and human flourishing.
As an ETSI Ambassador, Jean Arnaud hopes to help bridge the worlds of research, education, industry, entrepreneurship, and policy while raising awareness of the importance of standards in shaping the future of AI and emerging technologies.
