Issy is a cyber policy professional with experience spanning both the New Zealand Government and, currently, the UK Government at the Department for Science, Innovation and Technology (DSIT). At DSIT, Issy leads the Emerging Technology Cyber Standards team, leading the UK Government’s engagement across standards bodies to drive the use of standards as a tool to uplift cyber security for technologies. Issy is an active member of ETSI, and serves as Rapporteur for a European standard on AI cyber security.
