Interoperable cloud

SDG OpenOP provides an open, interoperable, and developer-friendly Operator Platform across telecom, cloud, and AI platforms. SDG OpenOP exposes CAMARA service APIs and integrates with a wide range of southbound platforms such as Kubernetes, 3GPP NEF, ETSI MEC, and NFV MANO.

Testbed federation

SDG OpenOP implements GSMA requirements for operator networks and testbed federation. It provides a neutral, non‑commercial,  standardised environment where research organisations, SMEs, and telecom players can jointly experiment, co-develop and test new capabilities in an agile and collaborative manner.

Collaboration & ecosystem

SDG OOP collaborates with several other standardisation and software groups at ETSI, such ISG NFV, MEC, SDG OCF, and in other relevant standards bodies and foundations including 3GPP, GSMA and the Linux Foundation. SDG OOP benefits from a wide research and innovation ecosystem, leveraging the code and contributing feedback from innovative use cases.

  • How we work

SDG OpenOP delivers two major code releases per year, in March and October, followed by plenary meetings and optionally Hackfests. During release cycles, the community meets weekly online to synchronise progress and priorities.
