Vicente Martin

Vicente Martin is Full Professor on Computational Sciences at the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid (UPM) and Deputy Director of the Center for Computational Simulation (CCS). He has more than 20 years of experience in quantum communications, combining  academic leadership, large-scale project coordination, and international representation. He also works in standards on QKD as co-founder of the Industry Specification Group on Quantum Key Distribution and its Vice Chair at ETSI. Vicente is Convener of the Quantum cryptography and Communications Workgroup of the JTC-22 at CEN. His main research interest is the integration of Quantum Communications in Telecommunications Networks and security infrastructure.
