Rouven Floeter leads the Customer Cybersecurity Office at Hitachi Energy and is a Founding Member of the Hitachi Quantum Center of Excellence, with over 25 years of cybersecurity leadership across IT and OT. He focuses on strengthening the resilience of critical infrastructure through executive advisory, customer assurance, and the practical adoption of quantum‑safe security.
He previously led the development of the industry’s first quantum‑safe encryption solution for mission‑critical environments, setting a benchmark for long‑term protection.
His career includes senior roles at ABB and KEYMILE, as well as co‑founding and scaling a cybersecurity company. He also contributes to cross‑industry collaboration, supporting alignment on security standards and innovation through initiatives such as UNIFE and HPE AllianceONE.
