European Commission - Head of the Unit “Future Connectivity Systems"

Miguel González-Sancho is since March 2024 Head of the Unit “Future Connectivity Systems” at the European Commission, responsible for EU policy and funding for innovation on advanced digital communication networks, including notably 5G/6G mobile communications and submarine cables. He is also a member of the “Smart Network and Services” Joint Undertaking.
