Malte Kruse joined Bundesdruckerei GmbH in 2021 in the field of mobile digital IDs. With his experience on smart card based development, his working area later extended to digital IDs in the context of phyisical ID documents. Latest he participated in a project developing a proof of concept in how to use post quantum cryptography in an ID document like the german ID card. Furthermore, he participates in the standardisation activities of GlobalPlatform within the Secure Elements Committee.
