Daniel Brown

Quantum Bridge

With a mathematics background, Daniel Brown began working in cryptography in 1999, at Certicom under Scott Vanstone and Alfred Menezes, where his focus was on elliptic curve cryptography and its provable security. His papers include the security of ECDSA in the generic group model, the difficulty of solving the RSA problem with a straight line program, the effect of a static Diffie-Hellman oracle, and a security analysis of random number generation. In 2025, Daniel joined Quantum Bridge.
