Christoph Striecks

Dr. Christoph Striecks is a senior scientist in the Quantum-Safe Cryptography (QSC) group at the AIT Austrian Institute of Technology. His professional focus is on cryptographic technologies demanded by quantum-safe systems. He received his Ph.D. in cryptography from the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT) in Germany in 2015. His research interests include advanced cryptographic security measures for key exchange, with a focus on hybridisation techniques for post-quantum and quantum technologies. He has been a key researcher in several national and international projects on the topic of (quantum-safe) cryptography and standardisation. He is an active member of ETSI TC CYBER QSC, ETSI STF 684 on “Quantum-Safe Cryptographic Solutions” and CEN/CLC JTC 22/WG4, and received a career grant of the Austrian Research Promotion Agency.
