Thomas Coratger
Ethereum Foundation
Thomas Coratger is a cryptographic researcher at the Ethereum Foundation, where he leads efforts on post-quantum security and contributes to consensus research. His work focuses on designing and implementing next-generation cryptographic protocols for blockchain systems, with an emphasis on scalability, security, and quantum resistance.
Before joining the Ethereum Foundation, he worked as a core developer and researcher at Kakarot Labs and StarkWare, contributing to virtual machine design, cryptographic primitives, and zero-knowledge proof systems. He has also been involved in open-source projects across the Ethereum ecosystem, including implementations of proof systems and protocol components.
Thomas holds a PhD in computational physics from Aix-Marseille University, where he specialized in high-performance numerical simulation. He also teaches blockchain technologies.
