ETSI Mission Critical Plugtests event reports a 92% success rate

The capacities of Mission Critical Push to Talk (MCPTT), Mission Critical Data (MCData) and Mission Critical Video (MCVideo) based on 3GPP release-14 were tested during the week of the second MCPTT Plugtests on 25-29 June 2018 in College Station, Texas.

MCPTT becomes MCX – Mission Critical Services – as vendors move beyond voice

The capabilities of Mission Critical Push to Talk (MCPTT), Mission Critical Data (MCDATA) and Mission Critical Video (MCVIDEO) were put to the test during a week-long event of intensive testing of more than 300 combinations of vendors and equipment, based on 3GPP Release 14.

The ETSI Experiential Networked Intelligence Industry Specification Group (ENI ISG) has released five specifications on use case, requirements, Context Aware Policy Management, terminology and a Proof of Concept (PoC) Framework.
