ETSI Software Development Group OpenCAPIF (SDG OCF) is excited to announce Release 3.0.0, introducing several new features and enhancements aimed at improving functionality, security, and usability. This release includes significant updates to event management, feature negotiation, dynamic configurations, and security, along with numerous bug fixes and testing improvements.

Key Changes and Enhancements

  • Event Filters and Reporting: Event notifications can now be filtered using various criteria. Users can also choose how often they receive updates—periodically, upon event occurrence, or just once.
  • Supported Features Negotiation: Feature negotiation is now possible during provider registration, enhancing flexibility and compatibility across different system configurations.
  • Upgrade to Latest 3GPP CAPIF API Specification: The system has been upgraded to version 18.7.0 to align with the latest 3GPP standards.
  • Dynamic Configurations: New tools have been introduced to manage configurations dynamically, making it easier to adjust settings on the fly.
  • Security Enhancements: Startup scripts have been improved, and Gunicorn has been upgraded. Additional security methods, including PKI and PSK, have been implemented to strengthen system protection.
  • Testing Improvements: New test suites have been added for features such as Event Filters, and existing test plans have been updated to ensure robust performance.
