Two breakfast briefings co-organized by ZVEI, CEN-CENELEC and ETSI.
The focus of the 1st ZVEI-ETSI event in June last year (“A globally competitive European Standardization for the digital decade”) was to raise awareness on the strategic nature of standardization and identify key success factors for EU standardization.
In February 2022, the European Commission published its Standardization Package. As requested by participants to the June session, ZVEI and ETSI are co-organizing the follow up event, and asked CEN-CENELEC to help build a solid programme.
The focus of the 2nd session - two breakfast briefings on 22 and 23 March 2022 will be:
- to hear market players’ analysis of the standardization package and debate whether it is likely to match their vision and ambition for EU standardization.
- to explore and devise ways forward regarding the implementation of the European Standardization Strategy (ESS).
Speakers will include EU lawmakers (EC, EP, Council), industry, national standards organizations, and administrations in charge of the standardization file in the capitals.
