ETSI has published the official report from the NGSI‑LD Plugtests™ event, held from 24 to 28 February 2025 at its headquarters in Sophia Antipolis. The event achieved an 88 % interoperability success rate, highlighting the maturity and alignment of NGSI‑LD implementations with ETSI standards, including ETSI GS CIM 009.

ETSI is pleased to announce the release of two new Group Reports on Reconfigurable Intelligent Surfaces (RIS). ETSI GR RIS 004 provides implementation and practical insights concerning RIS and ETSI GR RIS 005 studies RIS‑integrated MIMO systems, especially focused on diversity and multiplexing schemes.

On April 25, 2025, an open session on "ETSI ZSM and CCSA TC7 AN L4 Technologies and Standards" was successfully held in Beijing. The session was facilitated by Professor Wenjing Li, Chair of CCSA TC7/WG1, with opening remarks delivered by Ku Wen, Chair of CCSA Board. CCSA Vice Secretary-General Xinsheng Nan, Chair of CCSA TC7 Luoming Meng, and over 40 representatives attended the seminar.

ETSI and TTA, the Telecommunication Technology Association of South Korea, are pleased to announce the renewal of their cooperation agreement. The signing ceremony, held on 25 March at ETSI’s facilities, was attended by Mr. Seung-hyun Son, President of TTA and Mr. Jan Ellsberger, ETSI Director-General. This agreement reaffirms a partnership that dates back to 1992, evolving from an initial Memorandum of Understanding to the current, robust Cooperation Agreement.
