ETSI is pleased to host the virtual ESTIMED Hackathon #1 that will take place from 28 October to 30 October 2025.
The project called ESTIMED (Enabling Standardized IoT deployments in MEC Environments for advanced systems) is co-funded by the European Commission and EFTA. It brings together open standards from ETSI ISG MEC (Multi-access Edge Computing) and oneM2M into a horizontal platform for interoperable and scalable IoT systems.

The ESTIMED Hackathon #1 invites developers, researchers, and innovators to collaborate and build cutting-edge applications leveraging oneM2M IoT standards and ETSI MEC edge computing technologies.

Hackathon Objectives
- Propose innovative use cases that solve real-world problems using oneM2M and MEC capabilities in IoT and edge computing.
- Design high-level architectures that demonstrate how combining oneM2M and MEC can address the identified challenges.
- Develop prototype applications using available oneM2M/MEC configurations and open-source platforms.
