ETSI, in partnership with ERTICO, is pleased to invite you to the sixth ITS CMS Plugtests™ event which will take place from 25 February to 1 March 2019. This event will be hosted by ETSI at Sophia Antipolis, France.

This edition of the Plugtests event will focus on testing ITS Security features in order to support industry in the C-ITS deployment in the common single European trust domain as defined by the European Commission in the Release 1 of the document "Security Policy & Governance Framework for Deployment and Operation of European Cooperative Intelligent Transport Systems (C-ITS)".

The format of the event will be lab tests conducted in the premises of ETSI.

Interoperability Testing

  • To test interoperability of new ASN.1 based versions of:
    • TS 103 097 v.1.3.1
    • TS 102 941 v1.2.1
  • Validation of the European trust domain concept described in the EC Security Policy Release 1:
    • Interoperability of multiple PKI
    • Support of CRL/CTL in message validation
    • Certificate requests
  • Pseudonym changing strategy and privacy protection

Conformance Testing

  • ETSI CTI (Centre for Testing and Interoperability) will provide a test system to test the conformance of secured ITS-S and PKI implementations

Registration

Registration opens on 4 October 2018. All participants must be registered for the event in order to receive their credentials and be subscribed to the mailing list dedicated to this event. Companies registered shall have at least one person on site during the event. The registration deadline is 14 December 2018.

Each first person in a company to register to this event is de facto the official contact, who can add new participants from this company with the credentials received upon first registration.
The event is free of charge and attendees are responsible for all other associated costs (travel, meals, etc.).

NDA

All participating companies must sign the Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) that the official contact will receive upon registration. Companies will not be allowed to participate to the event if the NDA has not been signed. The deadline to return the signed NDAs to ETSI is 17 December 2018.

Credentials to access the Wiki will be sent to the registered participants upon signature of the NDA by the authorized representative of their company.

These documents complement the C-ITS Certificate Policy that was published already in June 2017. They provide the basis for secure and interoperable C-ITS deployment in the common single European trust domain and must hence be adhered to by all C-ITS deployment initiatives in Europe.

One open preparation conference call will be held on 22 November 2018 from 1600 to 1700 CET, for which the attendance is free and does not necessitate to have registered to the event.
