TTA and ETSI, two of the founding Partners of oneM2M Partnership Project, are organizing the 7th oneM2M Interop event.

Due to the Coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak and associated travel restrictions, this event will be run remotely, from 16 to 27 November 2020.

The purpose of this event is to verify the primitive’s interoperability as defined in the oneM2M standards and to check end-to-end functionality on oneM2M interfaces Mca and Mcc.

The implementations need to support at least one of the oneM2M protocol bindings (HTTP, CoAP, MQTT or WebSocket).

Interoperability test scenarios from TS-0013 (interoperability testing) are proposed to participants. The testing will be based on the latest specifications of the oneM2M Releases 1, 2 and 3, plus some advanced features of the release 4:

  • TS-0001 (Functional Architecture)
  • TS-0004 (Service Layer Core Protocol)
  • TS-0008 (CoAP Protocol Binding)
  • TS-0009 (HTTP Protocol Binding)
  • TS-0010 (MQTT Protocol Binding)
  • TS-0020 (WebSocket Protocol Binding)

This Interoperability event will offer test sessions where companies could assess the level of interoperability of their implementations and verify the correct interpretation of the oneM2M standards.

The Interop Event will also propose to participants to run advanced Conformance Testing to help them to debug their products, as specified in oneM2M TS-0018 & TS-0019.

Please note that the interoperability results are not to be public as the event is covered by a Non-Disclosure Agreement.

This activity is supported by oneM2M and by InDiCo, a project funded by the European Union and coordinated by ETSI.
