oneM2M, coming of age in India!

Market projections for the growth of Machine-to-machine communications and the Internet of Things are unrealistic without the emergence of a global standardized platform. The industry will not take off without significant consolidation of the economies of scale that standardization can bring. Rationalization need to occur although disparity will continue on the device and connectivity level.

OneM2M is a set of specifications that enables users to build platforms, regardless of the existing sector or industry solutions. The intention is not to discard or ignore industry-specific standards, but to work with them to provide value and extend their reach.
