Run once a year, the ETSI Seminar provides an intensive and interactive course on ETSI, its organization, structure, ways of working and related subjects. It is targeted at those who are new to ETSI or those who need to develop a deeper understanding of how to work effectively in ETSI.
Why attend?
Although designed primarily for newcomers to the Institute, the fact that ETSI is constantly evolving means that even those individuals with an extensive experience of the Institute and its work find it beneficial to attend.
The ETSI Seminar is an important step in the orientation programme for new members. It facilitates their active participation in ETSI, 3GPP or oneM2M - a must if your organization has just joined ETSI. In addition, this Seminar is essential for new delegates who have recently started to participate in ETSI work and is also an opportunity to meet key people in the ETSI Secretariat.
As well as describing the structure, organization and governance of the Institute and the partnership projects (3rd Generation Partnership Project (3GPPTM) and oneM2M), the seminar provides a detailed look at ETSI's online services and other tools for electronic working, which support the standards-making process.
The ETSI Seminar is free of charge to attend and is open to all, members and non-members alike.
Who should attend?
- New members of ETSI
- Candidate (applicant) members
- Potential new members
- New delegates in ETSI committees
- Newly appointed chairs, vice-chairman or rapporteurs in ETSI
