ETSI's Centre for Testing and Interoperability and the OSM community organised the 1st OSM Hackfest on 15-19 January 2018. The event was hosted in ETSI's headquarters in Sophia Antipolis, France and co-located with the Second NFV Plugtests event.
ETSI and ITU are pleased to announce the joint workshop "Towards Setting Environmental Requirements for 5G", taking place on 23 November 2017, in ETSI, Sophia Antipolis, France. The one-day workshop will provide a platform for discussion among all relevant parties including policy makers, standardization bodies, vendors, operators and researchers on environmental matters related to 5G.
The one-day workshop on "eSignature and eSeal validation" will discuss about standardization for eSignature/eSeal Validation services provided by Trust Service Providers, addressing conformity assessment, protocols and validation report. The objective is to define standards adequate to reach the objective of the eIDAS Regulation.
The ETSI workshop “Future Evolution of Marine Communication” will take place on 7-8 November 2017, in ETSI Headquarters, Sophia Antipolis, France. This event will investigate how the e-navigation concept and the evolution of GMDSS affect marine radiocommunication and navigation standardization in the mid/long term, taking also into account future requirements in terms of capacity/rate for data transmission as well as security aspects which are essential for improving maritime safety.
