IT Project Manager

The IT Project Manager will oversee various business applications, following the entire lifecycle of projects, from conception to post-release.

Mission

This role englobes the following tasks:

  • Act as the main contact for functional or technical questions related to these applications or projects, including post-release support to end users.
  • Evaluate needs or problems expressed by users.
  • Write functional specifications that meet user needs.
  • Write a compliance test plan and participate in the validation of deliverables with users.
  • Supervise design and development activities, whether the project is carried out in-house or outsourced.
  • Act as a facilitator for project team(s).
  • Track incidents and manage incident resolution, compliance, and patch delivery.
  • Manage project documentation, check that it is complete and conforms to quality templates.
  • Create and maintain user documentation in collaboration with Product Owner.
  • Organize the deployment in production.
  • Inform users of planned changes in production.
  • Coordinate with teams to ensure feedback loop.
  • Identify and propose actions to mitigate project risks and dependencies.
  • Create and maintain go-to-market (release) plans in collaboration with other Project Managers.
  • Produce a regular report on the progress of the ongoing project(s).
  • Contribute to high-level project roadmaps to ensure alignment with the organization's vision.

Profile

This role requires a strong understanding of the technical architecture of the applications, including how data flows between different components, as well as a deep knowledge of the information model and the tools used to manage it.

Applications are particularly welcome from candidates having the following profile:

  • At least a bachelor’s degree in computer science engineering or equivalent.
  • At least 3 years of experience in a role of IT Project Manager.
  • Be proficient in backlog prioritization, grooming, and planning.
  • Basic knowledge of modeling, analyzing, and transforming data using appropriate languages (e.g. SQL, scripting languages).
  • Ability to communicate effectively with customers and suppliers, both in writing and orally.
  • Fluency in English (both oral and written).

The post will be based at the ETSI headquarters located in Sophia-Antipolis, a lung of greenery between Cannes and Nice.
