Interopolis

Interopolis is the ETSI product enabling services.

Positioned towards the product end of the value chain, Interopolis services portfolio includes:

• Testing: the main aim of standardization is to enable interoperability in a multi-vendor, multi-network, multi-service environment. The absence of interoperability must not be the reason why final services for which there is great demand do not come into being. The Interopolis service can provide direct support and assistance in the development of test specifications and use of test languages. Interopolis has wide experience in the specification of information and communication technologies and can offer short- or long-term dedicated support.

   

• Interoperability: Interopolis portfolio of services comprises among others Testing and Interoperability initiatives, including Plugtests^TM interop events. Conformance testing and interoperability are complementary. ETSI test specifications are designed to concentrate on areas critical to interoperability, including testing an implementation's reaction to erroneous behaviour. The goal is conformance testing for interoperability.

   

• Interopolis provides a set of complementary services called product-enabling services helping key companies, working groups and fora to place into the market with confidence and in timely manner interoperable products or services.
