Mobile Network Management
Overview
3GPPTM has developed a comprehensive set of network management specifications covering topics such as:
- Charging
- Configuration
- Fault control
- Subscription
- Surveillance
- Performance
- Subscriber/equipment tracing.
and has developed XML definitions for most of these. For each domain, solutions sets are provided in Common Object Request Broker Architecture (CORBA), Common Management Information Protocol (CMIP), Simple Object Access Protocol (SOAP), etc. The network management specifications can be found in the 3GPPTM 32.-series.
