Drafting rules
The drafting rules contain all the details relating to the structuring of a document intended to become an ETSI standard, in other words a standard for ETSI standards.
The Drafting Rules define among other elements:
- how to manage references in an ETSI deliverable
- terms and definitions
- requirements and test methods
- endorsement of documents from other standards organizations
- harmonized standards under the R&TTE Directive
- font/style formatting
These rules complement the ETSI Technical Working Procedures (TWPs), which are part of the ETSI Directives.
The ETSI Drafting Rules are available in .pdf and as a Navigator from editHelp!, the ETSI service for assistance in drafting and editing.
