Screen resolution

ETSI webcasts require 100 Kbps or greater Internet connection and are best viewed with a minimum screen resolution of 800x600.

In order to optimize viewing of ETSI Webcasts you may need to update your media player, the links below will help you to do this:

Webcast Authentication with Windows XP, VISTA or SEVEN (for non ETSI staff)

When you are using Windows XP, VISTA or SEVEN your connection with the media server (WMS) negotiates the authentication.  This uses the Negotiate protocol to determine whether Kerberos or NTLM authentication is used. Both types of authentication use a challenge/response encrypted authentication mechanism. As the authentication mechanism uses the user's logon credentials for authentication, the client needs a domain account that is on the same domain as the Windows Media server, or on a trusted domain that is used by the server.
