The Convergence & Customer Experience Conference takes place on Thursday 26th June 2008 at ETSI Headquarters in Cote d’Azur, France.

The FMCA and ETSI invites Telecommunications Operators, Vendors, Industry and Trade press to witness the conclusions of the FMCA Plug Test Event and hear key industry speakers discuss Convergence as a Global Vision and the Importance of Interoperability for customers.

FMCA Associate Members have been working together and with their partners, in collaboration with ETSI to provide live demonstrations of Convergence Solutions based on the requirements defined in FMCA PRD 3.0  - http://www.thefmca.com/convergence-zone

The Convergence & Customer Experience Conference has been designed solely with the customer in mind. The event will bring together FMCA Members, Associates and wider industry to demonstrate the importance of meeting customer needs with easy to use, secure and interoperable Convergent products and services.

Aims of the Conference

• Demonstrate the results of the Interoperability Week testing programme based on the FMCA PRD 3.0 Requirements (http://www.thefmca.com/convergence-zone) with  the main  focus on the following:
• User Interface
• Mobility & Service Continuity
• Seamless Authentication and Roaming
• Quality of Service.
• Suggest common best practice for Convergence Interoperability across organisations and technologies
• Provide key note presentations from Industry specialists
• Networking opportunity – build relationships with other industry leaders
• Find out more about the FMCA and its role in industry
• Find out more about ETSI and its  role in standardisation’s best practice
