ETSI provides lectures to the University of Luxembourg on standardization for their Master’s course

Sophia Antipolis, 1 June 2022

Continuing our role in encouraging the new generation of standards people, ETSI has recently provided online lectures to the University of Luxembourg. A series of 6 presentations for students following the MTECH Master degree project "Technopreneurship: mastering smart ICT, standardization and digital trust for enabling next generation of ICT solutions". The first post-graduates from this course will receive their degrees at the end of 2022.

This course is supported by ILNAS, the Luxembourg standardization body, a public service under the authority of the Minister in charge of the Economy.

ILNAS and the University of Luxembourg selected the most relevant parts of the material developed by ETSI. Due to the sanitary conditions, the 6 lectures were recorded and submitted on 19 May. They covered several topics including an ICT standards overview, the ETSI standards making process, an approach to innovation and research, ETSI IPR policy, the importance of testing and interoperability, and cybersecurity.

All presentations are available on the ETSI website.
