4th Cloud Plugfest
Sophia Antipolis, France, and NC, USA, 10-12 December 2012The Cloud Plugfest Series was originated by the Open Grid Forum (OGF) and SNIA in 2011. This event is the 7th plugfest in that series and is proudly co-organised by OGF, the SNIA Cloud Storage Initiative (CSI) and European Telecommunications Standards Institute (ETSI). Co-hosting this event are the SNIA CSI and ETSI in the US and Europe, respectively.
Workshop on TSP Conformity Assessment
Berlin, Germany, 29 November 2012ETSI TC ESI is developing standards for trust services to support electronic signatures and related services for securing e-commerce and online services. Such trust services provide "digital certificates" which secure the authenticity of identities, and associated keys, which are then used to secure modern e-Commerce and Internet services in line with EU legislative requirements.

Global IPv6 Transition Test Event
Beijing, China, 12-15 November 2012ETSI in co-operation with the BII Group and the University of New Hampshire Interoperability Laboratory, hosted the 1st Global IPv6 Transition Test Event from November 12-15 2012 in Beijing.
This event was a local industry interoperability event primarily amongst major Chinese market equipment suppliers to assess the maturity and readiness of their equipment’s transition technologies. Only a limited number of tests (~100) were developed and executed during the event.

RCS VoLTE Interoperability Event
Kranj, Slovenia and Beijing, China, 24 Sept - 12 Oct 2012The MultiService Forum (MSF), European Telecoms Standards Institute (ETSI) and GSM Association (GSMA) organized a RCS VoLTE Interoperability Event 2012 focused on validating core network interfaces to ensure multi-vendor deployment strategies for RCS and VoLTE technology.

eCall 2012
Nuneaton, UK , 22-24 May 2012This was the first eCall Plugtests event and was held on the road test site of innovITS Advance which has Europe's most Advance ITS specific test track. A private GSM network is only available in the middle of the test track so a marquee was set up to enable the participants to benefit from the best coverage from this private network.
