eCall 2012
Nuneaton, UK , 22-24 May 2012This was the first eCall Plugtests event and was held on the road test site of innovITS Advance which has Europe's most Advance ITS specific test track. A private GSM network is only available in the middle of the test track so a marquee was set up to enable the participants to benefit from the best coverage from this private network.
eHealth / Connectathon 2012

The primary objective of Connectathon 2012 was to test different IHE profiles form several different domains.

2nd ETSI TC M2M Workshop From Standards to Implementation
Sophia Antipolis, France, 26-27 October 2011ETSI's 2nd workshop on Machine to Machine (M2M) communications, held in Sophia Antipolis, France on the 26th and 27th of October, gathered leading experts from all over the world to hear how ETSI M2M technology standards are being deployed.
The workshop looked beyond the M2M standards produced by ETSI Technical Committee M2M to how these standards can be applied to real life applications. This year the focus of the workshop was on implementation and deployment of standards-based solutions, because M2M technology promises to integrate many aspects of our daily lives and numerous applications of M2M are already available.
3rd ETSI TC ITS WORKSHOP
Venice, Italy, 9-11 February 2011The 3rd ETSI TC ITS Workshop, organised by ETSI was kindly hosted by Telecom Italia in its Future Centre in Venice. The event took place on 9-11 February 2011.
More than 140 delegates from all over the world participated to this event.
1st ETSI TC M2M Workshop
Sophia Antipolis, France, 19-20 October 2010Registrations for ETSI's first Machine-to-Machine Workshop exceeded all expectations and welcomed 220 delegates from diverse industrial sectors. This high degree of interest reflects the enormous potential that is foreseen for M2M applications and technologies.
Among the delegates already registered are representatives from the world's major telecommunication manufacturers and network operators, security companies, regulators, universities and research institutes. The workshop presented the current status of Machine to Machine standards work, both in ETSI and in other standards bodies, and examined how M2M capabilities will be one stepping stone amongst several toward the 'Internet of Things'.
1st ETSI TC ITS Workshop
Sophia Antipolis, France, 4 - 6 February 2009The 1st ETSI TC ITS Workshop, organised and hosted by ETSI in Sophia Antipolis, France, took place on 4-6 February 2009.
ETSI TC ITS had a very busy year 2008 developing standards and technical specifications for Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS). In February 2009, it was time to present TC ITS's results so far and discuss the way forward with our stakeholders and interested parties. The event was supported by ERTICO and a cooperation agreement between ETSI and ERTICO was signed during the opening of the event.
