Sophia Antipolis, France, 3 - 4 June 2013The 1st ETSI Smart Cities Workshop, 3-4 June 2013 at Sophia Antipolis, will be dedicated to examining the major issues that face city authorities and the enabling infrastructure providers who are building the cities of tomorrow. Such issues include, choice of technology, engaging with the citizens, cyber security and data privacy, business models and clarification of the roles of the major actors.

Athens, Greece, 7-8 October 2013A second ETSI Workshop on Environmental Impact Assessment and Energy Efficiency will take place on 7-8 October 2013, in Athens, Greece, hosted by the Greek Research & Technology Network (GRNET) and supported by the ECONET project.
Protecting the environment is a global concern, and one which involves whole industries, as well as individuals. Determining how to reduce the environmental impact and reducing energy consumption will provide obvious environmental benefits, but it also makes good business sense.
M2M Workshop 2013

Machine to Machine communications is the foundation layer for our future world of smart devices, smart appliances, smart homes, smart buildings and smart cities. To unlock the potential offered by M2M, we must understand and address issues related to business models and incentives, technology choices, involvement of different industry sectors, security and data privacy. We must also understand the roles of major actors and their numerous use cases.
ITS Cooperative Mobility Services Event
