oneM2M Interop 2
TTA and ETSI, 2 of the founding Partners of oneM2M Project, were pleased to organize the 2nd oneM2M Interop event taking place from 10-13 May 2016 in the TTA premises, in Seongnam-city, South Korea. This event was co-located just before the oneM2M TP#23 meeting, that was held from 16-20 May 2016, in Seoul.
The purpose of this event was to verify the primitive’s interoperability as defined in the oneM2M standards and to check end-to-end functionality on oneM2M interfaces Mca and Mcc.
The implementations needed to support at least one of the oneM2M protocol bindings (HTTP, CoAP or MQTT).
Interoperability test scenarios from TS-0013 (interoperability testing) were proposed to participants. The testing was based on the oneM2M Update Release 1 standards:
- TS-0001 (Functional Architecture)
- TS-0004 (Service Layer Core Protocol)
- TS-0008 (CoAP Protocol Binding)
- TS-0009 (HTTP Protocol Binding)
- TS-0010 (MQTT Protocol Binding)
This Interoperability event offered test sessions where companies could assess the level of interoperability of their implementations and verify the correct interpretation of the oneM2M standards.
The Interop Event also proposed to participants to run some Conformance Testing to help them to debug their products.
Please note that the interoperability results are not to be public as the event was covered by a Non-Disclosure Agreement.
This activity was supported by the Korean Ministry of Science, ICT and Future Planning and the European Commission.
