(Directionsfor both the Main & Einstein Building)

Main building:

  • Leave Nice Airport and join the A8 Motorway taking the direction to Cannes and Aix en Provence. Please note that the junction is on your right very soon after leaving the airport complex.
  • Leave the A8 at the exit marked Juan-Les-Pins and Antibes (exit 44). A toll is required (1€40).

  • On leaving the motorway, take the left hand fork sign posted to Antibes, Vallauris and Golfe Juan, (do not follow the sign to Sophia Antipolis).

  • The road curves to the right and just before the roundabout take the turning to the right, to Cannes, St Bernard, Vallauris and Golfe Juan (pay attention for a speed camera in the 70 km/h section).

  • Continue and follow the signs to Grasse and Sophia Antipolis. After a couple of kilometres you will join the Route du Parc. Follow the Route du Parc until you reach the traffic lights. You will see a road on your right sign posted to Biot, Les Lucioles (2) and Les Templiers. Turn right onto this road.

  • The route des Lucioles rises slightly and after a few gentle bends you will reach the top of the hill. On your right hand side you will see two grey France Telecom towers with a dish antennae on them: the ETSI entrance is immediately after the entrance to the France Telecom site, opposite CIRD, just before a red and yellow bus stop sign marked CIRD. Turn right into the ETSI driveway, keeping to the right hand lane. You have arrived!

Einstein Building:

There are 2 possibilities:

Follow the exact route above, and park in the ETSI car park. The Einstein building is only 50 metres away from the main building. To get there, follow the path to the right that continues along past the front of the main building and follow the signs to the Einstein Building through the trees.

Rather than turning off the route des Lucioles into ETSI, continue for around 150 metres and take the first road (rue Albert Einstein). Follow the road around the corner go into the first driveway on the right hand side. You will find yourself in the Einstein car park directly in front of the building.
