Security as a Business opportunity:
A winning driver to ensure technology success and increase confidence
and trust amongst end-users !
http://www.etsi.org/SECURITYWORKSHOP
Organisations that build in 'Security by Design' to well-engineered interoperable solutions find themselves ideally prepared to access and actively shape the market, and to reap the benefits. Security standardization plays a key role in increasing confidence and trust amongst operators and end-users, as well as supporting the requirements of legislation, resulting in a more secure environment for everyone. Prioritization of standardization efforts is crucial in order to optimise resources, and the effectiveness of security measures in the implemented products relies on well-designed means of evaluating the security standards.
The annual ETSI Security Workshop has built a reputation of being the key event in the field of international security standardization, bringing together international Standards Developing Organisations (SDOs) and security experts to discuss recent developments, share knowledge, identify gaps and co-ordinate on future actions and work areas.
