From 14 to 18 November 2011, the interoperability of different ITS implementations were tested during a Plugtests event jointly organized by ETSI and ERTICO at TNO in Helmond (NL). This event intended to provide results for the acceleration of the ITS standardization as well as recommendations for ongoing and future projects to lead the deployment of cooperative ITS systems.
This workshop was held on 17 November and presented the benefits and results of the first Plugtests sessions. The presentations and the discussions aimed to help participant to understand the critical role of Interoperability events to enable a seamless deployment of cooperative ITS systems.
