Sophia Antipolis 9 June 2008 Workshop Summary The scope of this ETSI Workshop was to cover all aspects of the creation of a global standard for the IP interconnection for NGN services.
It aimed to address interconnection requirements elaborated by GSMA and other organizations and how they could be taken to standardization in 3GPP and TISPAN, toward the timing creation of an ETSI standard for the interconnection of next generation of IP services.
59 delegates from 15 operator, 6 carriers, 12 manufacturers, and 6 government institutions confirmed their participation.
3GPP, GSMA, i3 Forum, IPI Alliance, TISPAN were represented in the workshop and actively contributed.
15 contributions were provided by TISPAN, GSMA, i3, 3GPP, NTT, TE and TI.
